Visual Art Gallery

A series of drawings produced from the sub-conscious without any forethought or concrete concepts. The goal was to just put pen to paper and create shapes and see what they shift into as the brain attempts to make sense of them in real time. I was also interested in what the finished drawings could reveal to me about the state of mind I was in at the time.

This work has an element of adolescence to it and if very much intent on replicating the feeling of aimless drawing as a child and the liberation that comes from creating art for the sake of it and without some grand plan in mind at the time of conception.
